Barron Park Garden Railway is a model train garden located in Palo Alto, California. It was started in the late 1990’s by local model railroad enthusiast, Bill Denton. The garden railway is located in the beautiful and historic Barron Park area and is open to the public.

The garden railway features a large G-scale model train layout, with a variety of track styles, scenery, bridges, and structures. The trains travel around a loop of approximately 1,200 feet of track, with a grade of up to 2%. The layout also includes a large trestle bridge, a tunnel, and a variety of buildings, including a train station, a windmill, a lighthouse, a church, a castle, and a ranch house.

The garden railway is regularly open to the public and visitors can watch the trains running. There is also a concession stand located on-site, offering hot dogs, popcorn and other snacks.

The garden railway is a popular destination for families, model railroad enthusiasts, and visitors to the Palo Alto area. It is a great place to visit and experience the joy of model railroading.
