The Gallup Cultural Center (GCC) is a vibrant cultural center located in the heart of Gallup, New Mexico. The GCC is dedicated to preserving, promoting, and educating the public about the unique cultural heritage of the Navajo Nation, the Zuni Tribe, and other indigenous peoples of the American Southwest. The Center houses a wide range of art, artifacts, and educational and cultural programs that celebrate the region’s diverse cultures.

The main attraction of the GCC is the Navajo Nation Museum, which showcases the history and culture of the Navajo people. It has permanent and rotating exhibits that trace the history of the tribe from pre-contact to modern times. The museum also hosts several special events, including Navajo weaving demonstrations, art classes, and traditional ceremonial activities.

The Gallup Cultural Center also hosts the Gallup Inter-Tribal Indian Ceremonial every August. This annual event brings together Native American tribes from all over the Southwest to celebrate their culture and heritage. Attendees can enjoy traditional dances, food, and arts and crafts.

The Gallup Cultural Center is open to the public year-round and admission is free. Visitors can explore the museum and watch cultural performances.
