The Palace of Governors is a historic building located in downtown Santa Fe, New Mexico, and is considered one of the oldest public buildings in the United States. Constructed in the early 17th century, the Palace was originally built as the seat of government for the Spanish colony of New Mexico and has since served as the capitol building of the New Mexico Territory and the state of New Mexico.

The Palace of Governors is a two-story adobe structure built in the traditional Spanish Colonial style, with a flat roof and a central courtyard. The exterior of the building is made of thick adobe walls and features a series of arched doorways and windows.
