The Delaware and Susquehanna Model Railroad is located in Haddon Heights, New Jersey. It is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit model railroad club, founded in 1971. The club offers members and enthusiasts a place to build, display, and run their model trains, as well as to partake in other model railroad-related activities.
The Delaware and Susquehanna Model Railroad is home to a large operating HO-scale model railroad layout. The layout has two main lines that cross each other at a central town, and is filled with detailed scenery, structures, and bridges. The layout also features a working trolley line and a small diesel switching yard.
The club's layout is open to the public for viewing during its open house events, which are usually held the first Saturday of each month from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. At these events, visitors can watch the club's trains running and ask questions about the layout.
The club also offers classes in model railroad building and operations, as well as special events throughout the year. These events include an annual train show, model contests, and educational seminars. The club also hosts a variety of model railroad clinics and workshops.
