The East Bay Model Engineers Society (EBME) is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization located in Richmond, California that focuses on building and running model trains. The society was founded in 1950 and is now one of the oldest and most active model railroad clubs in the Bay Area. The EBME has a diverse membership of over 200 members of all ages and backgrounds, and they meet regularly to discuss and work on their projects.
The club has a large outdoor railroad track and lay-out, located at Point Pinole Regional Park. The track is over 1,000 feet long and is open to the public year round.
