Historic Harrisville is a small village located in Harrisville, New Hampshire. Founded in 1774, the village is a well-preserved example of a 19th-century mill town. The village was home to several mills, including a woolen mill, a sawmill, and a gristmill. These mills were powered by the nearby Nubanusit Brook, which provided water to turn the waterwheels.
