Doane University is a liberal arts college located in Crete, Nebraska. The university was founded in 1872 as Doane College and is the oldest college in Nebraska. It is affiliated with the United Church of Christ, and has a student population of approximately 2,000 undergraduates and 500 graduate students. Doane College offers more than 40 undergraduate majors and nine pre-professional programs. It also offers graduate degrees in business, education, and the sciences.
