The Los Angeles Zoo is a 133-acre zoo located in Los Angeles, California. It is home to more than 1,100 animals from around the world, representing over 250 different species. It is a part of the Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association (GLAZA), which is one of the largest nonprofit zoo organizations in the United States. The zoo is located in the Griffith Park area, and is open year-round.

The zoo offers a variety of habitats and exhibits, from the African Savannah, to the Rainforest of Americas, to the Elephants of Asia. It also features a walk-thru aviary, a children's zoo, and a variety of attractions, such as the LAIR (Living Amphibians, Invertebrates, and Reptiles). It also has a carousel and a train that allows visitors to explore further.

The zoo also offers educational programs and events, such as Zoo Camp, and a variety of classes and workshops. The LA Zoo also has a variety of dining options, including the LA Zoo Café and the LA Zoo Grill. There are also a variety of gift shops and unique souvenirs.

The Los Angeles Zoo is committed to conservation and education, and participates in many conservation projects, such as the California Condor Recovery Program, the African Elephant Conservation Program, and the Los Angeles Zoo Tiger Conservation Program.
