Powell's Gardens is a botanical garden located in Kingsville, Missouri. It was established in 1980 by Dr. George Powell, a retired professor of botany at the University of Central Missouri. The garden spans over 6 acres and has a vast collection of plants and trees.
The garden is divided into several sections, including a rock garden, a rose garden, a Japanese garden, and a woodland garden. The rock garden features a variety of cacti and succulents, while the rose garden has over 200 varieties of roses. The Japanese garden has a koi pond and a teahouse, and the woodland garden has a variety of trees, including oaks, maples, and hickories.
In addition to the different sections, the garden also has a greenhouse and a gift shop. The greenhouse has a selection of tropical plants, and the gift shop has a variety of gardening items and souvenirs.
