The Scott Joplin House State Historic Site in Saint Louis, Missouri, is a historic house museum dedicated to preserving the life and works of ragtime composer Scott Joplin. Located in the city’s historic "Gaslight Square" district, it was Joplin’s home from 1900 to 1903. The two-story brick building was constructed around 1892 and was typical of the working class homes of the time. The Scott Joplin House State Historic Site is operated by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources and is open to the public.
