The Lanesboro Historic Preservation Commission (LHPC) is the official body responsible for the preservation of the town’s history and heritage. Located in the small town of Lanesboro, Minnesota, the LHPC is dedicated to preserving the town’s unique past and character. The commission is made up of seven appointed members and two alternates, with the mayor of Lanesboro as the ex-officio chairperson.

The LHPC is responsible for the identification, protection, and preservation of historic places within the city's boundaries.
