Great Northern 325 GN SDP40 325 leads a five-car train on the CN Dresser Sub. This was an "extra" OSCV ran after the Trains magazine OSCV photo charter.
"Wild" Chickens I was surprised to see this flock of chickens by the side of a gravel road running through the Boot Lake Scientific & Natural Area. These birds were probably a half mile or more from the nearest house - with a lot of swamp and woods for them to cross.They were bunched together like they were ready to gang up on any creature foolish enough to mess with them. I'm not sure what the real story is, but I like to think that they were tough enough to handle their wild existence.
