IMG_0247 Piers Gorge State Recreation Area. We only hiked to the Pier 1 area, but I could have sat there all day listening to the water and soaking up the beauty of the area.

IMG_0261 Did you you know that the Menominee River on the WI/MI border is a popular white water rafting destination? I didn't either until recently. There's plenty of outfitters in this area that host rafting tours. It's on the list to come back specifically for this.

Roadside waterfall This waterfall was at a roadside park just east of Iron Mountain in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
