Clouds We took a little vacation this past week in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Soon after we crossed the Mackinac Bridge we found this pretty-but-scary cloud formation facing us as we headed for our state park campground. Of course we soon also found rain. Fortunately, except for a brief heavy shower near where I captured this photo, we didn't find much during the drive, and were able to set up our tent and canopy in dry weather. <i>Later in the week's another story.</i> Photo taken along US-2 near Epoufette, Michigan.
Rest Area at Cut River We'd climbed down and then out of the gorge, and crossed the bridge. We needed a break. So we found a picnic table and sat for a while.

The Cut River Gorge We found the top of the trail and crossed the gorge on the Cut River Bridge. This was the view.
Fence We wandered for a while beneath the Cut River Bridge. Among other things, we found this fence.
