HESR 3867 - Durand Before I began building the CN Interchange for the night, I took a moment to shoot one of the last RailAmerica painted engines around. While it's image is patched and chipping by the day, you are still able to see a little bit of the motor's history in different spots. From CRIP Blue, P&amp;LE Yellow, the Red RailAmerica, to now the Red, White, &amp; Blue.

It was recently confirmed that the last 3 RailAmerica motors we have will be getting repainted into the G&amp;W Paint. Before they get dipped, the HESR 2028 will lead the way first after an emissions rebuild. I'm not sure if the RA's are getting such rebuild treatment, but at the very least an RV A/C unit is getting installed on each one before painting. The 2028 should be orange before the end of the year, and depending how quickly they do it, the last 3 RA painted motors will also become just a memory.

OSTN-06 - Durand GLC 399 leads the 116 car OSTN northbound over Main St in Durand. Even with my assistance lining them through the west yard, the train was too long during the pickup and blocked the Flint Sub including Amtrak for over a half hour.
