The Michigan Labor History Society (MLHS) is a non-profit organization located in Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan. The mission of the organization is to “promote understanding and appreciation of the history and ongoing struggle for economic and social justice for all working people in Michigan and throughout the world”. MLHS works to promote labor history and to provide resources to labor organizations, labor educators, and the general public.

MLHS provides a variety of resources and services to the community. The organization hosts a variety of events and lectures throughout the year, including an annual Labor History Conference. The organization also offers a variety of educational programs and workshops, including a Labor History Speaker Series, Labor Archives Tours, and Labor History Research and Education Grants. Additionally, MLHS publishes a quarterly newsletter and provides a library of labor-related books and materials.

Moynihan Award, which recognizes an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to labor history research and education in Michigan. Additionally, the organization sponsors the Michigan Labor History Hall of Fame, which honors individuals who have made significant contributions to working people in Michigan and around the world.
