Yankee Air Force is located in Belleville, Michigan and is dedicated to the preservation of America's aviation history. Founded in 1984, Yankee Air Force is a non-profit organization with a mission to restore and maintain historic aircraft, promote and share the history of aviation, and provide public access to the historic aircraft.

Yankee Air Force operates two historic airfields, the Willow Run Airport and the Belleville Airport. The Willow Run Airport, located in Ypsilanti, Michigan, is a former World War II bomber factory and the site of the Yankee Air Museum. The museum features over 20 aircraft and artifacts related to World War II, the Cold War, and the Korean War. At the Belleville Airport, visitors can explore a variety of historical aircraft and artifacts, including a B-17 bomber, a B-25 bomber, and a P-51 Mustang fighter.

The organization also offers a variety of educational programs, including tours of the museum, interactive learning activities, and flight training. Additionally, Yankee Air Force hosts a number of special events throughout the year, such as air shows, fly-ins, and air races. These events provide an opportunity for people of all ages to learn about aviation history and experience the thrill of flight.
