The Wixom Historical Society is a non-profit organization located in Wixom, Michigan. Its mission is to preserve and share the history of the city and the surrounding area. The society was founded in 1973 by a group of local residents who recognized the need to collect and preserve artifacts, documents, and photographs that tell the story of Wixom's past.

The society operates a museum that houses a collection of artifacts and displays that showcase the history of Wixom and the surrounding area. The museum is open to the public on Saturdays from 1-4 pm and by appointment.
