The Greater Lansing Area Sports Hall of Fame (GLASHOF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to honoring the extraordinary achievements of Michigan's greatest athletes, teams, and coaches. Located in Lansing, Michigan, the GLASHOF celebrates the unique contributions of individuals and teams who have made a significant impact on the local sports scene.
Since its founding in 1982, GLASHOF has inducted over 400 individuals and teams into its Hall of Fame. These honorees are not only recognized for their athletic accomplishments but also for the impact they have had on the community. Each year, a selection committee of sports media and community members reviews nominations from the public and chooses which individuals and teams to induct into the Hall of Fame.
The GLASHOF also serves to educate the community about the legacy of Lansing's sports heroes, past and present. The Hall of Fame is open to the public and displays memorabilia from the inductees, including jerseys, trophies, photographs, and other artifacts. The GLASHOF also organizes a variety of special events and activities throughout the year to celebrate the achievements of the inductees.
