The Milan Area Historical Society is a non-profit organization located in Milan, Michigan. Founded in 1974, the society is dedicated to preserving and promoting the history of the Milan area. The society maintains a museum in the historic Hack House, which serves as a focal point for the preservation and education of Milan's rich history.

The museum features a collection of artifacts and exhibits that illustrate the area's history, including displays on the early Native American settlements, the development of agriculture, and the growth of industry in Milan. The museum also features exhibits on the town's founding families, notable individuals, and important events in the town's history.
