The Elkton Area Historical Society (EAHS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the history of the Elkton area. The Society was founded in 1975 by a group of local citizens who wanted to preserve and share the unique history of the area. The Society currently operates out of the Historic Elkton Town Hall, located in the heart of downtown Elkton.

The EAHS maintains an extensive collection of artifacts, photographs, documents, and memorabilia related to the local area. The Society hosts a variety of events throughout the year such as lectures, historical tours, and an annual fall festival. The EAHS also offers a variety of educational programs, including a school program that allows students to learn about the local history.

The EAHS is also involved in preservation efforts, such as the restoration of the historic Elkton Town Hall. The Town Hall is a landmark in the community and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The EAHS also works to maintain the historic architecture and landscapes of the Elkton area.

The EAHS is committed to preserving, interpreting, and sharing the history of the Elkton area with both the local community and people from around the world. Visitors are welcome to explore the collection and attend the events hosted by the Society.

Janik's Orchard This was a stop on the <a href="http://www.thumbquilttrail.com/" rel="noreferrer nofollow">Thumb Quilt Trail</a> in Bad Axe, Michigan. The pumpkin appeared on the front of the barn. Another block appeared on the side although I didn't want to walk through the snow to view it.
