The Caseville Historical Society is a non-profit organization based in the small town of Caseville, Michigan. The Society was established in the year 1972 with the aim of preserving and promoting the history of the town and its surrounding areas.

The Society operates from a historic building known as "The Old Bailey School," which is located on Main Street in Caseville. The building was constructed in 1887 and served as a schoolhouse for over 80 years before being repurposed as a community center and eventually as the headquarters for the Historical Society.

Janik's Orchard This was a stop on the <a href="http://www.thumbquilttrail.com/" rel="noreferrer nofollow">Thumb Quilt Trail</a> in Bad Axe, Michigan. The pumpkin appeared on the front of the barn. Another block appeared on the side although I didn't want to walk through the snow to view it.

Campground Pic I'm not sure what that building does, but it's not an outhouse. Port Crescent State Park, near the tip of Michigan's thumb, on 8/25/2015.

We remember this as a bad vacation, mostly because we didn't much like the campground and the weather was extremely windy and somewhat chilly for our entire stay. And we expected more hiking trails than we actually found.

On the other hand, we found a couple decent restaurants and used the park as a base for exploring much of the thumb. 'Twasn't a total loss.
