Soundscape 2 at "Border Cantos - Sound Borders" exhibit Also from the final days of the special exhibition at the GRAM (Grand Rapids Art Museum) featuring the long project by Richard Misrach (photographer) and Guillermo Galindo (musical instrument builder and composer/performer) to document scenes, textures and light, and lives along the Mexico-USA border, in some cases with wall barriers and other places patrolled by high and low-technology methods.

This video clip focuses on an instrument fashioned from a resonator body and strings tuned by inserts made of vertebrae and scarp wood in the pattern of East Asia zithers, named (2012) "huesocordio" [bone chords].
