The Searles Valley Historical Society is located in Trona, California. Founded in 2011, the Society is dedicated to preserving and sharing the history of the Searles Valley region. The Society’s main objective is to collect, preserve, interpret, and display artifacts and photographs related to the history of Searles Valley.

The Society’s collection consists of photographs, documents, newspapers, books, maps, and other artifacts. Most of these items were donated by individuals who had lived in the area. The Society also has a library of books and documents related to the history of the region. The library is open to the public, and the items can be borrowed or viewed during regular operating hours.

The Society also sponsors several events throughout the year, including lectures, tours, and other activities. The most popular event is the annual Searles Valley History Fair. At the fair, visitors can view artifacts from the Society’s collection, listen to presentations from local historians, and take part in hands-on activities.
