The Magnolia Historical Society Inc. is a non-profit organization located in Magnolia, Massachusetts. Founded in 1982, the Society is an independent, volunteer-run organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the history of Magnolia and its surrounding towns.

The Magnolia Historical Society Inc. collects, preserves, and interprets artifacts, documents, photographs, and stories related to the history of Magnolia and its surrounding towns. The Society collects objects from all eras, from the very earliest settlers to recent immigrants and residents.

The Magnolia Historical Society Inc. also works to increase public awareness of and appreciation for Magnolia’s history through educational programs, lectures, and special events. The Society also sponsors and participates in a wide range of historical activities throughout the year, including tours and demonstrations of historic buildings and sites, lectures on local historical topics, and other public events.

The Magnolia Historical Society Inc. is housed in the historic Magnolia Town Hall, a charming, nineteenth century building that was built in 1881. The building houses a meeting room, a library, and an exhibit hall, where visitors can view artifacts, documents, photographs, and other items related to Magnolia’s history.

The Magnolia Historical Society Inc. is committed to preserving and promoting the history of Magnolia and its surrounding towns for present and future generations. Through its ongoing programs and activities, the Society works to ensure that the rich history of Magnolia is remembered and enjoyed for years to come.
