LIBERTY HALL

Liberty Hall in South Dennis, Massachusetts is a historic site located on the grounds of the Dennis Union Church. The hall was built in the early 1800s by Reverend Azariah Hall and was originally used as a meeting place for the townspeople. The hall was also used for religious and civic meetings, and schoolhouse, as well as a place for entertainment.

The building is a two-story, clapboard-clad structure and is one of the oldest buildings in Dennis. It is noted for its highly architectural and ornamental exterior trim. The building is laid out into two symmetrical sections, with the central part of the hall extending two stories in height. The two sections are connected by a series of doorways and vestibules. The interior of the hall has been completely restored and features an ornate period fireplace and an original box pew.

Liberty Hall is now used as a museum and cultural center, and is home to a variety of special events and activities. Each summer, the hall hosts a number of special events such as plays, concerts, and lectures. The building is also available for private events like wedding receptions and other special occasions.
