THE PAUL REVERE HOUSE

The Paul Revere House is a historic landmark located in the North End of Boston, Massachusetts. It is the oldest house in Boston, dating back to 1680. It was the home of American patriot Paul Revere from 1770 to 1800. Revere’s role in the American Revolution was instrumental in the success of the revolution and the establishment of the United States of America.

The Paul Revere House was originally built in the early 17th century and was a typical style of the English colonial period. The house is a two-story, wood-frame structure with a gambrel roof and clapboard siding. It has five rooms on the first floor, four rooms on the second floor, and a lean-to kitchen at the back of the house.

Today, the Paul Revere House is a living museum and is operated by the Paul Revere Memorial Association. Visitors can learn about the life of Paul Revere as well as the American Revolution and the history of Boston. The house contains period furniture, artifacts, and artwork from the 18th century. Tours of the house are available throughout the year, as well as educational programs and special events.

The Paul Revere House is a National Historic Landmark and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is a major tourist attraction in Boston and a symbol of American freedom and independence.
