Sequoia Presidential Yacht Foundation is a non-profit organization located in Potomac, MD. The foundation is dedicated to preserving and promoting the historic Sequoia Presidential Yacht, which was used by eight US presidents from Herbert Hoover to Jimmy Carter.

The Sequoia Presidential Yacht was built in 1925 and served as a floating White House for over five decades. It hosted numerous historic events, including meetings with foreign dignitaries, presidential vacations, and even a secret meeting between President Nixon and Elvis Presley.

The yacht was sold to private investors in 1977 and passed through several hands before being donated to the foundation in 2013. Since then, the foundation has worked tirelessly to restore the yacht to its former glory and make it available for public tours and private events.

In addition to preserving the yacht, the Sequoia Presidential Yacht Foundation also offers educational programs that highlight the yacht's unique history and role in American politics. The foundation is supported by a dedicated team of volunteers, donors, and board members who are committed to ensuring that this iconic piece of American history remains a vital part of our national heritage.
