The Westernport Heritage Society is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the history and heritage of the town of Westernport, Maryland. Founded in 1986, the society operates a museum that showcases artifacts, photographs, and documents related to the town's past, including its industrial and railroad history, as well as its cultural and social traditions. The museum is located in the historic Westernport Railroad Station, which was built in 1913 and served as a hub for transportation and commerce in the region for many years.

The society also sponsors educational programs and events throughout the year, including lectures, workshops, and tours of local historic sites. Members of the society work to document and preserve historical information about Westernport and its residents, and they collaborate with other organizations in the area to promote cultural and heritage tourism.
