PEA RIDGE NATIONAL MILITARY PARK

Pea Ridge National Military Park is a historical site located in Pea Ridge, Arkansas. The park was established to commemorate the Battle of Pea Ridge, which took place in March 1862 during the American Civil War. The battle was a significant victory for the Union army, as it prevented the Confederate army from advancing into Missouri and secured the state for the Union.

The park covers approximately 4,300 acres of land and includes a visitor center, museum, and a 7-mile self-guided driving tour. Visitors can also explore the park on foot by hiking one of the many trails that wind through the area. The park is home to a variety of wildlife, including deer, turkey, and foxes.
