The remains of Fort Pownall contain interpretive panels and a stone marking of burial sites. Interpretive signs describe Fort Point's history as a military, maritime, and tourist center.

The Fort Point Light, or Fort Point Light Station, is located in Fort Point State Park, in Stockton Springs, Maine. A lighthouse at this point has served as an active aid to navigation since 1835 and still is; the present lighthouse dates to 1857. The light was automated in 1988. It is one of nine lighthouses in Maine still using a historic Fresnel Lens.
