Olson House is a historic house located in Cushing, Maine. It was built in 1882 by the Olson family, and is a prime example of Shingle style architecture. The house is two and a half stories, with a gambrel roof and two and a half stories of windows. The exterior is characterized by its shingles, with a wide porch on the second story and a dormer window centered on the front facade.

Inside, the house is divided into two floors, with a sitting room, parlor, dining room, and kitchen on the first floor and four bedrooms on the second floor. All of the rooms feature original woodwork, with beadboard wainscoting, carved wood trim around windows and doors, and wood floors throughout. The house also includes a back staircase and a full basement.

The house is notable for its association with Andrew Wyeth, the renowned American painter, who painted the house and its surrounding landscape multiple times throughout his career. His most famous painting of the house, titled “Olson House”, is currently in the collection of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.
