The Saline County History Heritage Society was founded in Benton, Arkansas in 2006. With the mission of preserving the history of Saline County and its people, the Society is dedicated to collecting and preserving artifacts, documents, photographs, and other artifacts pertaining to the county's history.

The Society also has an active education program. Through educational workshops, lectures, and field trips, members of the Society strive to teach others about the history and culture of Saline County. The Society also publishes a quarterly newsletter, which keeps members informed about upcoming educational events and activities.

The Society also hosts a number of special events. These events are designed to bring together members of the Society and the public to celebrate the history of the county. Examples of events hosted by the Society include the Saline County History Days, the Saline County Heritage Festival, and the Saline County Historical Marker Dedication.

In addition to its educational and historic events, the Society also maintains a library and archive. This library contains various books, manuscripts, and other materials related to the history of Saline County.
