This swallow just landed on a barbed-wire fence next to a pond down the road from my house.

The South Logan County Historical Society Incorporated in Adairville, Kentucky is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation of the history and heritage of the region. Founded in 1973, the Society works to collect, preserve, and share stories, artifacts, and documents related to the history of South Logan County.

The Society is housed in a building located in Adairville, Kentucky, which was originally the home of James and Lula Clark, who were the first settlers in the area. The Society maintains a research library and museum, which houses artifacts and documents related to the history of the region. In addition to collecting and preserving artifacts, the Society also hosts events and programs such as lectures, workshops, and exhibits, which explore the history of the area.
