Lexington Financial Center, Main Street and Mill Street, Lexington, KY Built in 1987, this Postmodern-style skyscraper was designed by Sherman Carter Barnhart for the Webb Companies to serve as the headquarters of the Webb Companies, as well as a commercial office building.  The building is the tallest building in Lexington, standing 31 stories and 410 feet (125 meters) tall.  The building features a blue-tinted glass exterior, an octagonal footprint, a trapezoid-shaped roof, and a plaza around the base.  The building today houses the Lexington offices of Fifth Third Bank, among other office tenants.

The Lexington Public Safety Museum Inc. is a non-profit organization located in Lexington, Kentucky. The museum was established in 2011 and is dedicated to preserving and displaying the history of Lexington’s public safety services. The museum offers educational opportunities and interactive exhibits that highlight the history and accomplishments of Lexington’s police, fire, and emergency medical service departments.

The museum’s permanent collection includes a variety of artifacts, photographs, documents, and audio and video recordings. Visitors can explore a variety of interactive exhibits that include a virtual police car, a fire truck simulator, and a firefighter uniform dress-up station. The museum also features a variety of interesting and educational programs that explore the history of public safety in Lexington.

The museum also houses the Lexington Public Safety Hall of Fame, which honors individuals who have made significant contributions to the public safety community in Lexington. The Hall of Fame is open to visitors and features photographs, memorabilia, and other artifacts associated with the honorees.

The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday and admission is free. The museum is an important resource for the community and provides an opportunity for visitors to gain an appreciation for the contributions of Lexington’s public safety personnel.
