There were some interesting tiles beside this sign that appear to be related to to Kansas history and industry. Once we crossed the inter-dimensional border into Kansas, my Alamo Basement Texas A&M Aggie Ring began to sing: All I wanna do when I wake up in the morning is see your eyes Rosanna, Rosanna I never thought that a girl like you could ever care for me Rosanna All I wanna do in the middle of the evening is hold you tight Rosanna, Rosanna I didn't know you were looking for more than I could ever be Not quite a year since you went away Rosanna, yeah Now she's gone, and I have to say “Toto!” cried out Alamo Basement Aggie Ring. “I bless the rains down in Africa!” Then, he said, “All we are is ‘Dust in the Wind!’”

Looks like I'm in Kansas now. I had been in Kansas all of five minutes when I pulled over into a highway rest stop and Kansas information center. Before I could even go inside, a crow landed on this Kansas Chisholm Trail historical marker. He informed me he was on his way to pick the eyes out of a scarecrow who had no common sense. Then, without warning, there was this incredible funnel cloud. I could see all sorts of things twirling inside of it… cars, boats, farmhouses, cows… etc. My Alamo Basement Aggie Ring told me, “The only way you might be getting out of this alive is if you were wearing ruby red slippers and tapped them together and said, ‘There’s not place like Texas. There’s no place like Texas.” I told Aggie Ring. “Well, that does me no good. I wasn’t in the Air Force so I don’t have any ruby red slippers to tap. Do you have any other ideas, wiseass?” As we were walking back to the car, Aggie Ring began to sing: I could while away the hours Conferrin' with the flowers, Consulting with the rain; And my head I'd be a scratchin' While my thoughts are busy hatchin' If I only had a brain. I'd unravel every riddle for any individdle In trouble or in pain With the thoughts I’d be thinkin' I could be another Lincoln If I only had a brain. Oh, I, could tell you why The oceans near the shore I could think of things I'd never Thunk before,
