The Territorial Kansas Heritage Alliance (TKHA) is a non-profit organization based in Lawrence, Kansas. Founded in 2008, the mission of TKHA is to preserve and promote the history, culture, and stories of Kansas before it became a state in 1861. TKHA works with hundreds of partners, including other organizations, museums, and universities, to collect, preserve, and share the stories of Territorial Kansas.
