The Douglas County Historical Society (DCHS) is an organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the history of Douglas County, Kansas. Located in Lawrence, Kansas, the DCHS was founded in 1967 and is the only organization in the county devoted to preserving the history of the area.

The DCHS works to collect, preserve and make available to the public primary and secondary sources of historical interest related to Douglas County.
