The Cullman County Historical Society Inc. is a non-profit organization located in Cullman, Alabama. Founded in 1972, the Society was created with the mission of preserving, collecting, and interpreting the history of Cullman County, Alabama. The Society strives to bring the past to life through educational programs, exhibitions, and publications.

The Society’s headquarters is located in the former Cummins-Martin Memorial Library in downtown Cullman. There, visitors can explore the Society’s archives, which include photographs, documents, artifacts, and other materials related to Cullman County’s history. Additionally, the Society has a research library that contains books, periodicals, and other reference materials.

The Society also operates a museum in downtown Cullman, which houses a variety of displays, including permanent and rotating exhibits. The museum is open to the public and offers educational opportunities for all ages.
