The Holstein Heritage Foundation Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in Holstein, Iowa. The foundation was created to honor and preserve the history and heritage of the Holstein breed of cattle. The Foundation operates the Holstein Heritage Museum, which houses a variety of artifacts, photographs, and other memorabilia related to the Holstein breed. The museum also includes interactive exhibits, educational programs, and video presentations. The Foundation also sponsors the annual Holstein Show and Sale, which is held each year in August. This event brings together breeders, exhibitors, and enthusiasts from across the United States and Canada to showcase their animals and celebrate the Holstein breed.

In addition to its museum and show and sale activities, the Foundation also works to support the Holstein breed through research, educational initiatives, and other conservation efforts. The Foundation sponsors programs such as the Holstein Young Breeders Exchange, which provides young breeders with the opportunity to travel to other countries to learn about Holstein cattle. The Foundation also supports junior exhibitors by awarding scholarships and offering educational programs. Through its various initiatives, the Foundation works to ensure the future of the Holstein breed.
