The Republic Foundation is a non-profit organization based in West Des Moines, Iowa, that was founded in 2005. The Foundation's mission is to improve the quality of life in central Iowa by supporting education, health, and wellness initiatives, as well as community development projects.

The Republic Foundation was founded by the owners of Republic Companies, a group of insurance agencies headquartered in West Des Moines. The founders, led by CEO Tim Hogan, wanted to give back to the community that had supported their business for many years.

Since its founding, the Republic Foundation has donated more than $1 million to local organizations and initiatives. These include scholarships for students, funding for local schools and libraries, support for community health clinics, and assistance for organizations working to improve the lives of at-risk youth.

In addition to its financial support, the Republic Foundation is also actively involved in the community. Its staff and board members volunteer their time and expertise to support local organizations and initiatives, and the Foundation sponsors a variety of community events throughout the year.
