The William R Higgins Foundation is a non-profit organization located in West Des Moines, Iowa. Founded in 1998, the foundation is dedicated to supporting the West Des Moines community and its surrounding areas. Its mission is to provide resources and support to local organizations, programs, and initiatives that promote education, health, and social services.

The foundation has funded a variety of initiatives, including educational programs, park improvements, and neighborhood revitalization projects. It has also contributed to the creation of a family health center, a housing assistance program, and a youth mentoring program. In addition, the William R Higgins Foundation has provided grants to numerous organizations in the West Des Moines area such as the YMCA, the Boys & Girls Club, and the West Des Moines Community Foundation.
