The Peeples Valley-Yarnell Historical Society was established in 2000 with the mission of preserving the history of the area. Located in Yarnell, Arizona, the Society is dedicated to the preservation of local history and culture through education, research, and preservation of artifacts, documents, and photographs. The Society is housed in the Old Yarnell Schoolhouse, which was built in 1935 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Society offers a variety of programs and activities to visitors, including living history programs, lectures, and specialty classes. The Society also maintains a museum, which houses a variety of artifacts, photographs, and documents related to the area's history. The Society also offers a research library, which contains materials related to local history, including books, periodicals, and maps. Graylag goose (domestic type) - Watson Lake Park - Prescott This is a Graylag goose (domestic type) at Watson Lake Park north of Prescott. I had to triple check my identification of this goose. This is in the lower lake area. Highlands Center for Natural History bench - Prescott After leaving Lynx Lake, I stopped at the Highlands Center for Natural History. It was closed on Sunday. I wandered around the grounds. It looks like an interesting place. This looked like a great addition the Happy Bench Monday Group.
