The John Augustus Reitz House is a historic mansion located in Evansville, Indiana. It was built in 1871 by John Augustus Reitz, a prominent businessman and philanthropist in the community. The mansion was designed in the Second Empire style by architect Samuel Hannaford, who also designed Cincinnati's Music Hall.

The mansion consists of three stories and a basement, with a total of 20 rooms. The exterior of the house is made of brick and stone, with a mansard roof and ornate dormer windows. The interior of the house features intricate woodwork, stained glass windows, and marble fireplaces.

After John Augustus Reitz's death in 1891, the mansion was sold to the Evansville Catholic Diocese and served as a convent and school for many years. In 1944, it was sold to the Reitz Home Museum, Inc. and opened to the public as a museum. Today, the museum showcases the history of the Reitz family and the Victorian era in Evansville.
