Old Sulphur-Bedford Road Bridge (Trimble County, Kentucky) Historic Sulphur-Bedford Road Bridge over the Little Kentucky River in Trimble County, Kentucky.  The two-span double-intersection Warren through truss bridge was built by the Capitol Construction Company of Columbus, Ohio in 1901.  It formerly carried KY 3175 and was abandoned in 1999 when it was bypassed by a new bridge.

The Switzerland County Museum in Vevay, Indiana is a local historical museum that preserves and interprets the history of Switzerland County, Indiana and its surrounding communities. The museum is housed in a building originally constructed in 1847 and has been awarded the distinction of being placed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The museum holds a variety of permanent exhibits, such as a display on the county’s Revolutionary War heroes, a tribute to the region’s pioneer settlers, and artifacts from early Native American cultures. It also features rotating exhibits that focus on a wide range of topics, such as the history of the county’s riverboat industry, its agricultural industry, and its churches. In addition, the museum houses an extensive collection of archives that include items such as photographs, newspapers, maps, and documents that tell the story of Switzerland County’s history.

The Switzerland County Museum is open to the public Wednesday through Sunday. Visitors can take a self-guided tour of the museum or arrange for a guided tour with a knowledgeable volunteer. The museum also offers educational programs for students and adults, and the museum building can be rented for special events. The museum is a great place to learn about the history of the region and to experience the cultural heritage of Switzerland County.
