Save the Prairie Society (SPS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of the natural beauty of Westchester, Illinois and its surrounding areas. Founded in 1973, SPS is focused on the protection of natural habitats and species, as well as the promotion of community conservation and stewardship.

SPS works to maintain the area's natural diversity by protecting and restoring native plant and wildlife species. The society works in partnership with local and state governments, businesses, and citizens to promote conservation efforts and public education.
