MIDWEST SAVE OUR ANCESTORS REMAINS & RESOURCES INDIG NETWORK

CHICAGO, IL

The Midwest Save Our Ancestors' Remains and Resources (SOARR) Indigenous Network, based in Chicago, Illinois, is an Indigenous-led organization dedicated to the protection of Indigenous ancestral remains and associated cultural items, and the revitalization of Indigenous cultures and languages. SOARR works with Indigenous nations, tribal governments, tribal organizations, Native American organizations, and other Indigenous advocacy organizations to educate, mobilize, and empower Indigenous people to reclaim their ancestral remains and cultural items, and to protect Indigenous rights.

SOARR works to identify, research, and repatriate Indigenous ancestral remains and associated cultural items, and to support Indigenous traditional and cultural practices. Additionally, SOARR provides resources to Indigenous nations and tribal organizations to protect their ancestral remains and cultural items, and to prevent their further desecration or destruction.

SOARR also provides education and advocacy for the protection of Indigenous rights, and works to ensure that Indigenous nations, tribal organizations, and other Indigenous advocacy organizations have access to the resources they need to protect their ancestral remains and cultural items, and to protect Indigenous rights.

SOARR also works with Indigenous nations, tribal organizations, Native American organizations, and other Indigenous advocacy organizations to assist in developing policies and protocols that ensure the protection of Indigenous ancestral remains and associated cultural items.

SOARR is committed to working collaboratively to ensure the protection of Indigenous ancestral remains and associated cultural items, and to ensure that Indigenous rights are protected.
