The Corvair Preservation Foundation (CPF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in Lemont, IL. Founded in 2010, CPF’s mission is to preserve, protect, and promote the legacy of the Corvair automobile. CPF works to keep Corvair enthusiasts informed about the history of the Corvair and to provide resources for the preservation and restoration of Corvairs.
CPF works to provide support to Corvair owners and restorers. They host a number of events and activities each year, including car shows, swap meets, and cruises. They also work to educate the public on the history of the Corvair and to encourage the restoration of Corvairs.
CPF is a member of the Corvair Society of America (CORSA), an international club dedicated to the promotion and preservation of the Corvair. The organization also works in partnership with a number of other Corvair clubs, including the Corvair Owners Group (COG) and the Corvair Preservation Foundation (CPF).
In addition to their preservation efforts, CPF also works to provide assistance to Corvair owners in need. Through their “Corvair Rescue” program, CPF works to rescue and restore Corvairs that are in need of repairs. The organization also offers scholarships for students pursuing a degree in automotive restoration.
CPF is dedicated to preserving the legacy of the Corvair and providing resources for Corvair enthusiasts. Through their mission, they strive to keep the Corvair alive for future generations.
