The Illinois Restaurant Association Educational Foundation, Inc. (IRAEF) is a non-profit organization based in Chicago, Illinois. Founded in 1981, the organization's mission is to promote, support and encourage the growth and development of the restaurant industry through education. The IRAEF provides educational programs, scholarships, grants and other resources to individuals, businesses and organizations associated with the restaurant industry.

The IRAEF offers a variety of educational programs and resources, including an annual Restaurant Leadership Conference, an industry-wide job fair, the Annual Illinois ProStart Culinary Competition, and an online resource library. The Foundation also provides financial assistance to students through its scholarship program and offers grants to non-profit organizations.

The IRAEF is committed to promoting the highest standards of food safety and sanitation, and provides educational resources, training and certification to individuals and organizations in the restaurant industry. The Foundation also works to advance the interests of the restaurant industry and promote its growth and development through research, public policy initiatives and advocacy.
