The Cambodian Association of Illinois (CAI) is a non-profit community-based organization located in Chicago, Illinois. Founded in 1980, CAI is dedicated to improving the quality of life for Cambodian Americans through advocacy, education, and community building. CAI serves as a bridge between the Cambodian American community and the larger community, providing resources and programs that are culturally sensitive and relevant to the Cambodian American experience.

CAI works to address the needs of the Cambodian American community in the Chicago area through a variety of services. These include direct services such as educational and employment assistance, health and wellness programs, and legal and immigration services. CAI also organizes workshops, seminars, and activities that are designed to empower and support Cambodian American individuals and families.

In addition to direct services, CAI also works to increase awareness and understanding of the Cambodian American community. Through its annual Khmer Arts Festival, CAI promotes the appreciation and celebration of Cambodian culture, heritage, and history. CAI also advocates for the Cambodian American community by engaging in policy discussions and advocating for legislation that affects the Cambodian American community.
